Step 1: Put your music player on shuffle.
Step 2: Post a line (unless the first line reveals the song title) from the first 20 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing.
Step 3: Strike through the songs when someone guesses the song title correctly.
Step 4: Looking them up on Google or any other search engine is cheating!
Step 5: If you like the game, post your own.

16. Too Close for Comfort - I don't know the composer, but it's been covered by tons of people. The version on my iPod is from the "Good Night and Good Luck" soundtrack.

Nicely done, and first blood to you, sir. As for the others, keep in mind I worked in a record store for eight years and had eclectic taste before I started there.

Also, the "Too Close For Comfort" was Ella, but I prefer Mel Torme's version.


As a side note, look into Sleepytime Gorilla Museum and all the related side projects. You might like 'em. Of course, they might be too metal for you, but the side projects will still work.

I figured someone would call #3 for SGM, which is not inaccurate. I was listening to the 2 Foot Yard version, but the song, not the artist, is the issue.

And I don't doubt you recognize 4, 8, 11 and 13 at the least.

I've only ever heard one song by The Beatles that I liked.

Right on all counts, and it was indeed The Talking Heads.

Earworming . . . heheheheheh . . . could be worse. I won't elaborate, but I will quite literally put song's in my wife's head without her realizing it. I'm evil.
